The Jericho Faith-based Assistance Project

The Jericho Faith-Based Assistance Project provides an opportunity for faith-based institutions to increase and enhance their youth programming and management capacity. This initiative is based on the premise that faith-based organizations are essential community-building institutions that are called upon to deliver services to youth in the congregation and the broader community against a backdrop of dwindling resources.

The Jericho Project introduces youth development to clusters of faith-based institutions, helping them to move from traditional teaching to more dynamic activites, with young people participating  in the planning and program design. The Jericho Project serves as a convener, facilitator and teacher--bringing expertise and resources to underserved communities.
